The UN is holding the second of two gatherings for its "World Summit on the Information Society" [WSIS] in a few weeks ( www.itu.int/wsis/ ). Wikimedia is sending representatives to the event; they are bringing information about the projects with them. This information should be in as many languages as possible. You can help by translating the Wiki cheatsheet and the Wikimedia leaflet : http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Translation_requests/WSIS The WSIS event will be a good way to reach people from every corner of the world. There will be hundreds of leaders and public speakers there. These people can carry the spirit of the Wikimedia projects to their countries and organizations.
