Subject: Anyone using the Diamond SRH-519 antenna? Newsgroups: gmane.recreation.radio.hardware.kenwood.th-f7e Date: 2008-03-18 15:30:07 GMT (24 weeks, 4 days, 11 hours and 5 minutes ago) Hi! I'm looking for a replacement antenna for the standard antenna of the TH-F7E. After searching the internet, the SRH-519 seems to fit my demands the most: - it's relatively small (20cm) - is tuned for 145MHz (SWR 1:1.2) and 435MHz (SWR 1:1.0) - seems to be wideband enough to use on frequencies outside the HAM bands (with permission ofcourse) Questions: - is anyone using this antenna? If so, any comments? - is there an SWR graph available somewhere? I would like to know what frequencies are safe to use without re-tuning the antenna - are there other antenna's that would fit my demands (<30cm/12", dual band, wideband for TX around HAM bands, usable for RX 80-500MHz at least)? Thanks! -- Robert Elsinga = |
