Thanks for all of your replies about the SMA connector. I removed the connector and pushed out the pin that was jammed. Unfortunately this also pushed out the insulator which I cannot get back in! I soldered a short length of coax directly from the radio to a dummy load to measure the power output. I was wondering whether I had damaged the pa. I measured very little RF output so perhaps I have more serious problems73 Roger MW0IDX K3IDX
