Hi, I'm new to this group althougth i'm a member of yahoogroups for long time. Recently i bought a th-f7 and i've been "playing" with it the last days. I've already made the MAX232 Interface and it works but the jack-plugs need to be modified to go inside a little better (as i saw on the photos). The price of the MAX233 is overpriced here, by the way i'm portuguese and my callsign is ct1enq (mike). I've tested the interface with the original kenwood software and i cannot run the g1ivg program...some class missing or something like that. I've also noticed that if we have VFO A on 70cm and VFO B on 2m the reception on VFO B will almost disappear. If we do the opposite, 2m VFO A / 70cm VFO B, nothing occurs (i mean RX is good). Also noticed that if you have an HF external antenna and with just put the radio near it with the original antenna and Bar antenna turned on then the radio will receive a lt of signals. Anyone knows how to run the g1ivg program? Anyone noticed the VFO A/VFO B problem? Sorry for my english but i'm writing in one pass without looking back :) 73 & gl ct1enq mike
