Subject: Re: Any changes in the Kenwood TH-F6A over the years? Newsgroups: gmane.recreation.radio.hardware.kenwood.th-f6a Date: 2008-03-17 01:03:01 GMT (16 weeks, 2 days, 11 hours and 7 minutes ago) I've had one for somewhere around 7 years and bought another one in Dec. The case has a different texture that is a little rougher (less smooth) and the click-tune knob (as I call it) is a little stiffer (stronger detent). My older one will not program on all 8.33kHz. frequencies in the Air band either from keyboard ot via computer. Not a killer, but I haven't checked the new one to see if that was fixed. This is a radio problem because the MCP software can't do it either. 73, Steve, K9DCI I'm wondering if Kenwood has made any changes or enhancements to the > > TH-F6A hardware or software (firmware) between the 2001 models and > > the 2008 models? > > There's never been any mention of firmware, versions or updates. The problem I mentioned above should be obvious if it's an issue. > ------------------------------------ |
