Hi all,

OK, GenMAC 2.00 and XWLAN 3.0 with support of WPA are out and mostly 
working, thanks a lot to Willibald, Adrian and Christian for this!

In future I will collect the requests for the support of new hardware, I 
will check if all necessary information is included, I will do some 
"pre"-tests and I will send everything to Wilibald.

Before sending a complete new request please check this group ( 
http://news.gmane.org/gmane.org.netlabs.genmac.user ) and the just send 
a "me too" with the all card-informations!

Normaly I also read this list, if necessary you can contact me directly 
at genmac <AT> godawa <DOT> de , but if you expect personal premium 
support you can directly send it to dev <at> nul !

Please be aware the NOT every hardware can and/or will be supported, 
right now only PCI, MiniPCI and CardBus cards are supported at all.

PCMCIA/PC-cards (16 bit) never will be supported and USB probably also 
not because of the buggy USB implementation in OS/2.

And right now only one WLAN card for PCIe is supported (Intel 3945abg) 
but it is not running on all systems and testing/debugging is very hard 
for Willibald because he does not own any hardware with PCI-Express!

If you are looking for new hardware, first check the chipset in your 
card, possibly it is already supported and check if it is working. If so 
it would be nice if you write a short message in this list with the 
exact card type. If not, please follow the debug instructions in the 
manual of the latest driver!

As CardBus cards I personally can recommend the D-Link AirPlus DWL-G650 
(NOT the DWL-650+ !!!) with Atheros BG ([168C:0013]) which is working 
quite well and (in near future) also the D-Link AirPremier DWL-AG660 
with Atheros ABG ([168C:001B]).
