Hi all,

After the debugging session with Willibald last weekend he compiled a
new version with support for some more chipsets! In total we support the
follwing chipsets right now:

Note that some of the new chipsets are more or less untested, especially
those marked with a '*' so feedback to those chipsets (good or bad) is
very welcome!

The Intel 2915 Chipset was implemented without hardware so we have no
idea if this works or not. If you want to support Genmac Wrapper
Willibald would appreciate donations for the following hardware:

Atheros WLAN Card with PCI ID 168c:0012 or 168c:0013
Intel 2915 a/b/g

If you can help, contact me privately (ktk <at> netlabs.org)

You can get the release here:

ftp://netlabs:rulez <at> ftp.netlabs.org/ndis/genmac17.zip

Unzip it over the current genmac installation and replace all files.
Don't forget to check if HELPERW.EXE was locked!!! "unlock" it if necessary.

Also, make sure you replace the GENM32W.OS2 driver in \ibmcom\macs with
the new release, it should report itself as 1.7 during boot.

WPA support is done in the driver but I will need another few days for
the userlevel tools to appear. I will distribute them later.

Feedback is very welcome, good or bad! When the driver works fine this
will probably lead to 2.0 with WPA support.

DO NOT DISTRIBUTE YET!!

thanks

Adrian
