Hi all.
Sorry if this is sent to the wrong group. I was torn between install
and discuss and discuss was it.

I think I've found a bug in the snapshot update process using yum on a
fedora 8 computer. Here is what I've seen over the last few updates...

1. yum downloads the updates;
2. yum installs opennms-core and displays something about symbolic links
for logs and share;
3. yum cleans up.

It is during the clean up phase that the symbolic links for
/opt/opennms/logs and /opt/opennms/share are deleted.

I noticed this as during an update the other night (Australian time) and
the update of opennms-core said that /opt/opennms/share is meant to be
symbolic link and it is not. When I did a listing of /opt/opennms I
found the logs directory had disappeared.

Cheers,
John Natschev.
