I have released Corman Lisp 2.01 for download, which is a minor update
release of Corman Lisp 2.0. It incorporates all the patches that were
available in the 2.0 patches directory, as well as numerous other
improvements which did not lend themselves to patches.

I regret that we were unable to fix all of the defects that have been
reported. However, I feel this is significant enough to merit a new
release, and certainly relieves a lot of work patching the 2.0
installation.

As we promised, we have increased the price of a license for Corman Lisp
to US $249.00. We feel this is still a very reasonably price, and we
still offer reduced price student licenses and upgrades. If you have not
purchased a license, please consider doing so. Each license purchased
allows us to devote more resources to Corman Lisp development.

Thanks very much to all of you who have given us valuable feedback,
reported defects, and even contributed code. If you have contributed
code which we didn't use, or reported defects we haven't fixed, this is
probably because we were unable to address all issues at this time. We
will continue to issue patches for the new release.

In the next few months, we plan to organize defect reports in a way that
you (and we) can easily track them. We plan to make significant
improvements to Corman Lisp throughout this year. Whenever appropriate
we make this work available as patches. When this is not practical (for
example a patch requires a kernel update) we will provide interim
releases such as this one.
