With all that going on, and with less than modern hardware, it was always responsive to X, keyboard and mouse. Slowly, rsdl became the automatic choice (much like a prior discusser (discussor?)). From there it permeated to the workstation, and I've quickly learned to live without SCHED_IDLEPRIO and SCHED_ISO. I do quite like RSDL. And another thing, in an interview, Eric Clapton replied to a question with something like "... I really hate doing these things, like this interview ... I've got far more important things I could be doing with my time, like tickling children". I'd say let it burn, RSDL is good. All hail RSDL. cheers, Cal
