Thanks to all who have contributed to this release. The cdrom_id program is replaced by an advanced version, which can detect most common device types, and also properties of the inserted media. This is part of moving some basic functionality from HAL into udev (and the kernel). udev 120 ======== Bugfixes. The last WAIT_FOR_SYSFS rule is removed from the default rules. The symlinks to udevadm for the debugging tools: udevmonitor and udevtest are no longer created. The symlinks to the udevadm man page for the old tool names are no longer created. Abstract namespace sockets paths in RUN+="socket:@<path>" rules, should be prefixed with '@' to indicate that the path is not a real file. udev 119 ======== Bugfixes. -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-hotplug" in the body of a message to majordomo <at> vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html |
