Subject: [ANNOUNCE] udev 115 release Newsgroups: gmane.linux.hotplug.devel Date: 2007-08-23 23:43:24 GMT (1 year, 45 weeks, 20 hours and 5 minutes ago) Here comes a new udev version. Thanks to all who have contributed to this release. The tarball can be found here: ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/hotplug/ The development repository can be found here: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/hotplug/udev.git;a=summary The ChangeLog can be found here: http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/hotplug/udev.git;a=blob;hb=HEAD;f=ChangeLog udev 115 ======== Bugfixes. The etc/udev/rules.d/ directory now contains a default set of basic udev rules. This initial version is the result of a rules file merge of Fedora and openSUSE. For these both distros only a few specific rules are left in their own file, named after the distro. Rules which are optionally installed, because they are only valid for a specific architecture, or rules for subsystems which are not always used are in etc/udev/packages/. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
