Subject: new kernel headers Newsgroups: gmane.linux.gentoo.devel Date: 2003-10-21 17:52:43 GMT (5 years, 36 weeks, 5 days, 20 hours and 57 minutes ago)
Can someone clarify SLOT for me? I see the new kernel headers as N, which
means they're slotted and I thought you could only slot when the packages
didn't conflict. Since the ebuilds dont install to /usr/include/$PN/
{linux,asm}, is this a problem?
Along a similar track, is it possible to have the 2.6 kernel headers provide
the virtuals that the linux-headers package provides? I mean if I'm going to
compile glibc again against new headers, might as well be for 2.6 headers....
