That didn't helped me out. Well, as said by Mr.Henrique and Paul I took the latest madwifi r3856 and manually loaded the modules with insmod ath_pci autocreate=none. Then I am able to create the WDS link setup. #wlanconfig ath create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode wds ath1 # Now facing another problem. When a client make association to the AP (ath0), I keep getting wifi0: ath_fatal_tasklet: Hardware error; resetting. wifi0: ath_fatal_tasklet: Hardware error; resetting. any idea what causes to throw this error message?
