Snapshots from the trunk should be OK for that device: http://snapshots.madwifi.org/madwifi-trunk/ > My questions are: > > 1. Any ideas why wifi0 is not being created? Because the driver doesn't support the device. > 2. Am I using madwifi or ath9? You are using MadWifi. > 3. If it's madwifi will it work with an 802.11n card such as the DWA-645? Future releases of MadWifi will work with the card, but 802.11n functionality is not planned. If you need 802.11n support, use ath9k. You'll need a recent Linux 2.6.27 release candidate for ath9k. -- Regards, Pavel Roskin ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ |
