Have you looked at ath_tx_start() in if_ath.c. I think what you want can
be implemented here. I haven't done it myself, so ...

Hi!

I am trying to make some changes to the WiFi MAC. With regards to this,
I wanted to know if such changes can be made in the MadWiFi driver or I
wont be able to change it at all because the standard dictates it.

Buy the way what I am trying to change is that base data rates (Basic
hardware data rate) or the management traffic data rates. Currently on
802.11b/g it is set to 1 Mbps. I want to increase it to a higher value.
I understand that this will result in a lower coverage range for the
access point but I don't care about that so much.
