Hello,

Using a miniPCI to PCI adapter, I've tested the Wifi board on my
development PC (Debian/unstable for AMD64) and ath_pci is properly
initialized.

[Debian/unstable, dmesg]
(../..)
MadWifi: ath_attach: Switching rfkill capability off.
wifi0: Atheros AR5414 chip found (MAC 10.5, PHY SChip 6.1, Radio 6.3)
ath_pci: wifi0: Atheros 5413: mem=0xfdbe0000, irq=16
(../..)

Thus the problem occurs only on the Xscale CM-X270 target board?
  * PCI problem?
  * cross-compilation issue?
  * ...

Additional infos (from the PC)
