You don't need new devices to reproduce the problem.  The new HAL
supports older devices.

I checked the ad-hoc mode quickly.  Everything is fine without WEP.
With WEP, data goes correctly in one direction, but gets corrupted in
the other.  The same problem exists in the 0.9.4 branch.  So it's not
something specific to the new HAL.

I tested the 0.10.5.6 HAL with AR5007 on one side and AR5006 on another,
and the data goes through in both directions without WEP.
