Comment (by anonymous):

First of all thank you for your hard work
I have gotten to the point of seeing the wireless networks and but it wont
 connect, i tried doing
 > dhclient ath0
on the command line and it just kept trying to get an IP from the DHCP
 server until it gave up

 what could be wrong?
 im using
 -openSuSE-11.0 32bit on a
 -Compaq Presario F700 with
 -Atheros AR5700EG wireless card and
-Kenyan tea with whole wheat bread

to get there i did pretty much the same thing as Orbital_sFear above

on rebooting (hmmmm...) the wifi networks are being seen but on choosing
mine it attempts to connect then finally fails,

 please advise..
