Hi, Everbody,I am sorry that I have descripted arp frames infomation something wrong in last email. So rewrite the email below.
I am using madwifi study 802.11. The madwifi runs rightly on my Federa host rather as ap or sta. When runs as sta,I using
ominipeek capturing wifi packets at the same time. When this sta(192.168.3.3) ping another sta(192.168.3.119) in the same BSS,I captured
2 arp request packets.One arp request packet is "To the Distribution System",other
one is "Exit from the Distribution System".Then I printk informations by setting
print
points in function ath_tx_start(..) and function ath_hardstart(...) in source code file if_ath.c. But I can only find one arp request packet("To the Distribution System") is
send out in source code. This make me puzzled. I don't know when the other one arp request packet("Exit from the Distribution System") is send out in source code. I think it
maybe relate to 802.11 protocol. Would you please give me the answer or hint? Thanks!
