Subject: HEADS UP: Contributed patches now must be signed off Newsgroups: gmane.linux.drivers.madwifi.devel, gmane.linux.drivers.madwifi.user Date: 2005-11-29 17:10:19 GMT (3 years, 5 weeks, 6 days, 16 hours and 23 minutes ago) Hi all. As a result of a discussion [1] that took place in madwifi-devel recently the new "Patch signing guidelines" [2] are now in effect. This is necessary to ensure that contributors are fully aware of the fact that MadWifi is distributed under a dual license (GPLv2 and BSD). By signing off a contributed patch the submitter acknowledges that (s)he read and understood the "Madwifi Developer's Certificate of Origin" [3] and agrees to these terms. Unsigned patches will be rejected from now on, asking the contributors to sign them off first. Developers with write access to the repository should make sure that commit messages contain the relevant signed-off-by lines.
