Texas Best BBQ sauce (yet another revision!)

I have almost achieved it - the replication of
the best commercial BBQ sauce ever made! The color
is right on; The consistency is almost right on;
The taste is almost right on. The sauce, resulting
from my recipe, has a bit more tang to it than the
original, but the taste is getting very, very
close.

3 1/2 oz. tomato paste
10 oz. water
1 1/4 Tsp dry mustard
1 Tsp Worchestershire sauce
1 Tsp dried thyme
1 clove garlic, pulverized into a paste
2 - 3 Tbl fresh onion, grated finely
1/2 Tsp chile d'arbol pods, de-seeded and ground
1/4 Tsp ground cumin
1 Tbl lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1 Tbl white vinegar
1 Tbl dark molasses
1 Tsp liquid smoke
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Combine the above ingredients into
a small, non-reactive sauce pan.
Bring the contents of the pan to
a boil, cut the flame to the
lowest setting, and simmer until
the sauce is thick. Stir the pan
frequently.
