Subject: plone.org migrated Newsgroups: gmane.comp.web.zope.plone.user Date: 2007-07-16 14:23:18 GMT (51 weeks, 1 day, 21 hours and 42 minutes ago) As you may or may not have noticed as of last weekend plone.org is behaving somewhat different. Faster to be exact. I replaced the previous setup based on squid with a new one based on nginx and varnish and tweaked the caching configuration for the Zope instances. Both changes should help with the performance issues we were seeing recently. One result of this is if you have made a new release for your product or wrote a new piece of documentation it may not show up immediately on the front-page of the help or software centres or their RSS feeds. In that case take some time to enjoy the result of your work, grab a drink and check back later. Finally a note to those of you (you know who you are) who are using CSS and JavaScript links to plone.org for your own site: I am going to add a referrer check to our setup that will prevent this from working. Our CSS and js is GPLed so just make a copy if you want, but don't try to (ab)use plone.org.
