Hi folks,

The iCalendar parsing code in Plone Calendar is derived from work done
for SchoolTool an open source administrative framework (and calendar
system) for schools.  You'll probably be pleased to know that our
developers at Programmers of Vilnius have started a new round of work
on calendaring, and the new contract includes parsing repeating
events, so hopefully Sidnei will be able to add that feature to Plone
calendaring in a few months as well.

I was working on getting iCal to work with SchoolTool two weeks ago.
It is a pain.  On top of the problems Nate mentioned, it also doesn't
send a Content-type.  My quick observation was that "Publishing"
always wiped out any existing events.  I'll apparently have to test
that further.
