It was removed because the new parser doesn't really gain anything by
searching only part of the page... if you must have this functionality...

var searchIds = [#id1,#id2,#id3];
dojo.addOnLoad(function(){
dojo.forEach(searchIds, function(node){
    dojo.parser.parse(dojo.byId(node));
}
