Hi all,

V4L2 spec rev. 22 is available from http://v4l2spec.bytesex.org/

Changes:
- New Video Output Overlay (OSD) interface.
- Alpha blending for Video Overlay and Video Output Overlay.
- struct v4l2_window.chromakey format changed.
- New controls V4L2_CID_MPEG_VIDEO_MUTE, V4L2_CID_MPEG_VIDEO_MUTE_YUV
  and V4L2_CID_MPEG_CX2341X_STREAM_INSERT_NAV_PACKETS.
- New field orders V4L2_FIELD_INTERLACED_TB and
  V4L2_FIELD_INTERLACED_BT.
- New ioctls VIDIOC_G_CHIP_IDENT, VIDIOC_DBG_G/S_REGISTER.
- New ioctls VIDIOC_(TRY_)ENCODER_CMD, VIDIOC_G_ENC_INDEX.
- New pixel formats V4L2_PIX_FMT_PAL8, V4L2_PIX_FMT_YUV444,
  V4L2_PIX_FMT_YUV555, V4L2_PIX_FMT_YUV565 and V4L2_PIX_FMT_YUV32.
- Clarification of cropping/scaling.

There is some uncertainty about the packed RGB formats. Does anyone know
a driver which *does not* interpret the formats according to
http://v4l2spec.bytesex.org/spec/r2290.htm Table 2-2 ?

Michael
