A team has just moved offices, and the pinboard where the story cards
live has not yet been attached to the wall in the new location. I'm
thinking that it shouldn't be now that I've seen that team's lead
*pick* *the* *board* *up* and carry it over to the desk of the person
who needs to express an opinion about what's on it. The board is 2m by
1.75m and Ben is well over six foot, so as a request for attention
having him and it arrive is hard to ignore, whereas a request to come
over to the board (even though it's just at the other end of the room)
and discuss is too easily fobbed off with a "I'll be over in a minute"
and then forgotten about. Also, seeing the board being shifted about
is a heads-up to the team that some new status and planning info might
be arriving soon. Nice.
