Yup, figured that out myself a few minutes ago...

However, checking and unchecking the passwords box will not fix the
"ask" box.

If the "ask" box is UNchecked, checking the "Saved Passwords" box will
CHECK the box AND gray it out. Looks like a "fail-safe" thing from what
I can tell.
