The new "Getting Started" Dave is writing for the 1.34 release (using
BBv2) does precisely that :-)

And for historical records, we managed to find the problem and solution
to the spawn problem on Windows a short time ago during an IRC session.
It turns out that it's an OS "bug". If your PATH environment variable is
"very long" it causes failures on searching through the path to fail in
this context. The "solution" is to shorten the PATH, for example by
using 8.3 names.

HTH.
