Everything, incl. the kernel is up > to date. Any idea? I am not surprised. Just search the archives. The SD driver could use some tlc. Try: 1. Unloading the drivers (rmmod mmc_h5400 mmc_samsung). 2. Insert either card. 3. Load drivers. If that doesn't work: 1. Shutdown device. 2. Remove battery for about a half hour 3. Put in either card 4. Put in battery 5. Boot device If that doesn't work, try doing either procedure but switch steps 2 and 3 in the first procedure and put step 3 after step 5 in the second procedure. During all of this you can use logread to see if the mmc infrastructure is reporting anything. If that doesn't work, sacrifice one goat along with a pinch of black charcoal and a swig of pepsi. That almost always does it ;) Seriously, you can turn on debugging and see if you card is even noticed by the mmc infrastructure. But I do not have the directions in front of me at the moment. Try those things and I'll see if I can't dig them up.
