Ah, so The Commonwealth _of_ Australia therefore doesn't claim to be
synonymous with the continent of Australia, although the word
"Australia" on its own could refer to either the continent or the
nation/country. In context no-one has any confusion whatsoever,
regardless of "Prince" Rupert's former wheat farm (within the
boundaries of Western Australia) known as the Hutt River Province,
which has enjoyed (generally unrecognised) independence from the C of
A for over thirty years.
