Quite nice! We were thinking about the same idea. We already developed some JSR168 compliant views on top of UWCAL (http://www.washington.edu/ucal/) and integrated it with Sync4J (www.sync4j.org). Next step would be to migrate UWCal to Jackrabbit (in order to have all your events, addresses, to-do,...) "mounted" in a shared content repository....
