Subject: [Bug 39513] - apache 1.3.35 - *** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (!prev) error on startup] Newsgroups: gmane.comp.apache.devel Date: 2006-05-08 17:46:50 GMT (3 years, 8 weeks, 2 days, 7 hours and 43 minutes ago)
Whoa nelly - sorry team for the +1 from me, this one really stank to high
heaven (this bug, as well as the wildcard Include crippled). Unfortunately
my environment noted neither.
As good an arguement as any, I think, that httpd 1.3 is dead - dead - dead
for all feature patches. If it isn't a (significant) bugfix, these always
creep up and bite us in the ass.
On that subject, unless I hear objection, I will be pulling down the win32
Apache 1.3.35 win32 binaries. The 'older versions' section ("please don't
do this") does point them to archives.apache.org/... where they can still be
downloaded by those who, for whatever twisted reason, insist on running the
prefork server within threads.
